Married At First Sight’s Jo McPharlin flaunts her incredible body transformation in a glamorous selfie after her 40 kilogram weight loss

Married At First Sight star Jo McPharlin shed an incredible 40 kilograms after starring on season five of Nine’s social experiment.

And after debuting her weight loss during Sunday night’s Grand Reunion, it seems the bubbly blonde, 42, is only too happy to keep flaunting her slim new figure.

Jo shared a photo to Instagram on Monday of herself in a chic white frock, which featured a high neck and sheer detailing on the shoulders.

The Adelaide native looked radiant as she posed in front of her bedroom mirror.

‘Night two, are we all ready?’ she wrote in the caption.

‘Well, I certainly am. So excited to see the fallout from last night and debrief with everyone about what the actual heck transpired.’

As Jo walked into the cocktail party on Sunday’s episode, relationship expert Mel Schilling looked just as surprised as the show’s brides and grooms. 

‘Oh! Is that Jo? This is a new woman,’ she told dating guru John Aiken.

Contestant Troy Delmege admitted he almost didn’t recognise his co-star, saying: ‘I was like, “I don’t know that girl, I don’t know that girl, I don’t… I do know that girl!”‘

‘Your new look is incredible, congratulations,’ he added.

Since first appearing on Married At First Sight as a plus-size bride three years ago, Jo has lost weight by exercising regularly and following the ketogenic diet. 

Meanwhile, fans were equally impressed by Jo and her new look. 

‘Jo is legit the 2021 glow up we all need,’ one viewer tweeted. ‘WOWWWW Jo looks fantastic,’ another commented.

A third tweeted: ‘Foxy Jo is my daily inspiration.’

The Married At First Sight Grand Reunion continues on Monday at 7.30pm on Nine
