Australian Survivor star Lee Carseldine shares the secret behind his incredible body transformation – and how YOU can get abs during self-isolation

Australian Survivor’s Lee Carseldine was left feeling out of shape after undergoing a a shoulder reconstruction surgery six months ago. 

But after the former test cricketer, 44, debuted a set of rock-hard abs on Instagram this month, fans were desperate to learn they could transform their own bodies while in lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic.   

Speaking to 9Honey, the reality star said his secret to achieving a toned physique is making ‘small incremental’ lifestyle changes.

‘Don’t expect to be motivated every time you workout,’ he warned. 

‘I look at my actions. And my actions highlight my discipline. It is only through discipline that I achieve my goals,’ Lee explained. 

He sportsman pointed out the importance of structure when it comes to achieving a long-term goal.

‘All can still be achieved in self-isolation, if your routines and structure are in place,’ he said.

Earlier this month Lee shared a photo of himself from six months ago after a shoulder reconstruction surgery. 

Beside that picture was a recent image of himself showing off his washboard abs.

He wrote in the caption of that post: ‘Still allot of work to do but one thing I know through all this is that fitness and family/friends are my oxygen in life.’ 

It comes after Lee had a rough past year.

He split up with his longtime girlfriend and Survivor co-star El Rowland. Six months on from their split, El revealed that she had found love with her ‘beautiful Fijian boyfriend’ named Apakuki. 

Lee then had to leave the show early after his mother, Elizabeth ‘Beppie’ Carseldine, suffered a stroke and passed away.
