Hudson is an ambassador for the company WW, formerly Weight Watchers, and says that the program helped her lose weight in a more sustainable way.“It was a smarter way to take the weight off, because it stays off. I think the wonderful thing about what that is, is you can eat what you want, you just have to be conscious. It teaches you about food.” The actress says that the program’s approach to food is what helped with sustainable weight loss. Nothing is off-limits, just everything in moderation, plus the program guides you on how to eat in moderation. This was pretty easy for Hudson to follow as this is exactly how her parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, raised her.“I really understand food,” she says. “I understand what I’m putting in my body, I grew up like that. My parents are who taught me about that. But there’s a lot of people out there who don’t have that relationship to food.” The mother of three became an ambassador for WW about two months after little Rani, who she shares with partner Danny Fujikawa, was born. Since the beginning of the year, Hudson has been sharing peaks into her body transformation. The actress would reveal some weight loss goals and her process of achieving said goal. Hudson even said that she wanted to lose 10 pounds and admitted to gaining some weight over the holidays. The actress also previously shared that her goal was to lose 25 pounds by the spring, after giving birth to her daughter. She added that she needed a different kind of discipline in order to lose weight at the time.
