Gregg Wallace has lost four stone since undertaking a lifestyle change in 2017, crediting his motivation to his younger wife.

The Biddenden resident – who is most famous as a host and judge on Masterchef – recently showed off his new physique on Instagram.

He has proudly shed four stone and has committed to continuing on his fitness journey despite the government imposed lockdown, Mirror Online reports.

Gregg also explained that the motivation for his incredible journey has been his wife, Anna, 33, who is 22 years his junior.

At the beginning of his road to fitness he told The Sun: “”When I was at my biggest I was having a daily fry-up, fish and chips once per week, takeaway a couple more times and drinking beer nearly every day.

“I’m a huge fan of curries, chillies and stews and it is still possible to lose weight and eat hearty meals.”

He unveiled a sculpted upper body and huge arms on Instagram

He has told the nation to cut back on fatty foods, moving to leaner meats.

The dad of three, who welcomed baby Sid with his wife Anna last April has also accredited his son as a major factor in his desire to continue to get in shape.

Telling Mail Online that he wants to be “fit for my baby”, he added: “I want to be there as long as I can be, and I love that I can run around with him and play with him.

“I love to strap him to me and run around the grass with him.”

The television star has also posted regular updates on his Instagram allowing fans to see the progress he has made in recent years.

There seem to be no days off for him either as Gregg described himself as “a massive gym bunny” stating that he works out “seven days a week.”

He even went as far to explain that he “will find one of those Pure Gyms that are open 24 hours” to make sure he can get a workout in even when he is travelling for work.

And of course, the doting dad is kept on his toes by his young son.

Speaking about becoming a new dad once again, the star admitted to the news outlet that he wants to be “fit for my baby”.

His health and wellbeing journey has trundled on since the birth of his son.

He added: “I want to be there as long as I can be, and I love that I can run around with him and play with him. I love to strap him to me and run around the grass with him.”

But the TV chef says it’s also about making yourself feel better.

He revealed that how you feel about yourself each day is the “most important thing in the world”.
