Both researchers and the CDC believe people who are asymptomatic or anyone who is pre-symptomatic can still spread the virus. The incubation period for COVID-19 is between two to 14 days. This is the main reason why the CDC changed its guidelines one face masks.

The CDC now recommends everyone wear a face mask or cover their face in public. Remember, the face mask is not to protect you, but others around you.

The claim of a new and expanded list of symptoms is true.

If you have a fever, cough and trouble breathing it’s recommended you see a doctor.

People with mild symptoms are advised to self-isolate.

If you don’t have symptoms, practice social distancing, good hygiene and try to stay home as much as possible.
