Eddie Hall sheds 10kg as he proudly dons body transformation on Instagram – GIVEMESPORT

Ahead of their greatly-anticipated bout, it appears that Eddie Hall has put in the hours ahead of his fight with Game of Thrones star Hafthor Bjornsson. 

When Hall was crowned the 2017 champion of World’s Strongest Man, the weightlifter clocked in at over 30 stone on the scales. Now, the former world champion has boasted his impressive body transformation on Instagram, as he has dropped 22lbs in weight.

Along with the image that donned his stunning physique, ‘The Beast’ told his followers: “Just back from an afternoon bike ride with the kids.

“Sitting at 164kg so overall 10kg lost and feeling great for it.”

Both Hall and Bjornsson were apparently close friends, according to The Beast’s comments on the True Geordie podcast, however, their relationship has turned sour over recent years. 

Their feud has seemed to reach boiling point recently, as Bjornsson bested Hall’s 500kg world-record deadlift. The Icelandic went one kilogram further, but Hall questioned the legitimacy of his world-record attempt, as it wasn’t completed during an official competition. 

The pair are now due to settle their differences in the boxing ring and ‘The Beast’ has claimed he’s feeling incredibly ‘nimble’ as the former champion aims to shed the weight. 

Speaking on another Instagram post, Hall revealed: “It’s all coming together nicely, I’m feeling good. I’m feeling strong, that’s for sure.

“Bodyweight is coming down massively, I don’t know what I weigh right now but I’m feeling really good.


“I was 27st 7lbs when I started when I came back from Australia.

“I anticipate to be 26 7lbs, maybe a little bit less.

“This is a good weight for me right now. I’m feeling fit, feeling nimble and I’m able to do the boxing stuff really well.

“Weight for the fight, I don’t know. I could come in at 120, I could come in at 170.

“We have just got to wait and see how my body adapts to all of the training.


“The main thing is I’m keeping strong, I’m not letting anything die off.

“The boxing work has taken a backseat right now, but I’m building my fitness up so I’m preparing myself to get into the boxing work.

“Which is good, we’re making progress. We’ve got 15/16 months until the fight, so plenty of time. I’m enjoying the journey.”
