FORMER WWE star Rusev has shown off his stunning body transformation as he waits for his non-compete clause with Vince McMahon to expire.
Rusev was among one of the high-profile names to be released alongside Kurt Angle, Zack Ryder and former tag team champions Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
The 35-year-old’s exit proved particularly controversial considering that WWE opted to keep his real-life wife Lana on their books.
Rusev had spent the majority of his career on NXT and the main roster with the Ravishing Russian serving as his manager.
But WWE wrote a polarising storyline in which Lana had an affair with Bobby Lashley and divorced her husband.
Although booked as the babyface in the feud, Rusev was never given the edge over the Almighty in their subsequent matches and was abruptly released from his contract in April.
The former United States champion has since reverted to sharing pictures and videos of his wife again on social media.
It was Lana that revealed Rusev – real name Miroslav Barnyashev – would be going by the name Miro once his WWE contract expires on July 15.
The 35-year-old (CJ Perry) has now given fans a glimpse of the incredible shape her husband has got himself into.
Rusev has been showing fans his recent workout routines, including intense chiropractic adjustments, to help him ditch his trademark bulk in favour of a lean look.
And one fan tweeted: “Rusev looks shredded.”
Amid rumours that he could be set to join Chris Jericho at AEW, ex-WWE ace Ryback insisted Rusev should be hot property.

Speaking on the Conversation with the Big Guy Ryback podcast, he said: “I can only imagine a guy like Rusev would have to be top priority on getting him into that system.
“I know Chris had mentioned that a Roman Reigns could thrive over there, which Roman would. Roman’s top notch and is a great worker.
“Rusev is [as well]. He’s got a character and a built-in brand. I think he’d give them a little boost specifically in the ratings.”[embedded content]
